A decade ago, Nick Berry and Matt Waldin joined forces to create Fox Transportables. The idea for the company grew from a desire to fill a need in the Western Australian community. The pair set out to create well-built, smartly designed, and affordable structures that are fully transportable.
What began as an idea to help meet people at their point of need, evolved into the creation of a top producer of expertly crafted multi-purpose transportables in Western Australia.
Since 2009, Nick and Matt worked tirelessly to elevate Fox Transportables to new heights by branching out in three distinct directions, all with the same core values and commitment to quality for the customer.
Fox Transportables is the beginning of the story. In the wheat belt as well as in the mining industry, Western Australian businesses employ large numbers of seasonal and transient workers. One of the first essentials these workers need is for a safe and clean space to live.
Because there is significant competition for skilled and reliable workers in the commercial and mining world, good employers will go to great lengths to edge out competitors and to build their seasonal staff.
Fox Granny Flats
In 2013, the market for transportable housing felt a direct influence from the government’s amending of the laws governing granny flats. The idea that you could exercise the option to use land that you already own and occupy to place a transportable structure caught on quickly.
Fox Transportables funnelled all of the know-how and skills acquired over four years of perfecting their transportables into the design and construction of granny flats. Once again, Fox Transportables met the consumer’s needs by offering the right product at the right time while maintaining quality and value.
Occasionally, a company arrives on the scene and reverses preconceived notions. This is the case with Fox Modular. Often, the term modular home is held in low regard, as if any modular home would automatically be substandard. When Fox Transportables entered the modular home business, they blew that notion out of the water.
Fox proudly creates stunning, high-end modular homes at prices that will not wreck your budget. Remember, Fox Transportables adheres to the adage less expensive does not mean cheap. All of the skill and attention to detail Fox puts into the other products they manufacture integrates into their modular homes.
